What’s New!!!!

10-20-10
What an eventful past 30 days! I have actually just finished speaking at a Christian School here in my hometown and what a privilege it was.Prior to that I sat-up at the second annual Ampfest. And prior to that I made my way home from the Midwest by accumulating a total of twelve thousand miles on the new van. With all that said I apologize to those that are on the mailing list for not giving an update any sooner, but I am realizing that this website updating it is not my strong point. Needless too say I understand the importance and will continue to strive harder. ENDURANCE right!

I would like to share in detail the second half of the tour but for the sake of time, be looking for a write-up in the near future when I hopefully have some down time to reflect. In general I would like to say that we have a lot of work to do to bring back the heritage of this Christian Nation! As I traveled one of the biggest observation was the fact that there is so many new age and oppressive cults that are attacking & attracting the people in their despiration. The scriptures that say, ” For they know not what they do, and There eyes have been blinded of the truth !” kept come to my mind as I spoke with people and traveled the land. In my personal growth it charged me to be able to answer the questions and speak boldly while showing Christ through my presence.

After returning from the West I spent two weeks preparing for Ampfest. I was able to show up at the event with over a hundred and sixty plaques. It was a beautiful day for the event and I think I walked away with less than 30 pieces. God is so good as you seek his direction and guidance it is almost like a living symphony as He provides and we submit. He has been continually speaking to me about various things and subjects, but in reference to the burden he has placed on my heart for the youth Ampfest emphasized that once again. The knowledge of understanding what it means to truly be a Christian and show fruit in your life must be preached and internalized. In my opinion the body is lacking the wisdom of its elders and doesn’t seem to fit in the package of this Cool Christian Life we have created for various reasons. Mostly in sheer panic to make us feel a false sence of security for our family and friends. Dear Lord, Please awaken us by your holy spirit and have mercy on us, causing us to repent.Amen
As I write and reread I realize that perhaps this update is not as jolly and upbeat as past updates, but I must write what the Lord lies on my heart or else it is no benefit to you or I. And besides He does and will win the battle! Perhaps I have just been experiencing and sharing some of the loss sets. I do want to share though a couple of individual stories that occurred leading up too and during Ampfest that were of His light.
One story is about a young lady that lives above the house where I prepared for Ampfest. Several Months back I witnessed the destruction of alcohol take shape in her boyfriend’s life. It came in like a thief in the night and within a couple of weeks he had passed. This happened prior to me going out on the road for the summer and I had thought while I was out there how she had been coping with the loss. Well last week sometime while I was working in my shop with the garage door open she came down from her apartment and wanted to know what all the noise was about. I shared with her the ministry. By the Holy Spirit , She began to open up and confess her struggles with the loss of her boyfriend and how it was causing her to really evaluate her life. I then had the extreme honor to pray for her. Well little did I expect she came to Ampfest with her parents. I was pleased to see her there and pray that the seed continues to be watered. Praise God!
The other story is about a young man who had come to the festival last year and showed up again this year. His name is Daniel and he is pictured in a photo above. What a blessing he was! Little does he know he was quite an encouragement to me. I had been praying for youth to become interested in the ministry to a level that I did not have to challenge them to get involved but yet they would assert themselves. Daniel seems to be naturally gifted with his hands and also understands the vision of the ministry. I look forward to spending time with him in the future.

The last event that I mentioned above I had just completed was speaking to over three hundred children at a local christian school. The age range was from kindergarten to eight grade. I was asked to speak while I was out west. It just so happened that I was heading down the Grand Canyon and the Lord really spoke to me as he supplied the verses he wanted me to share. He gave me 1 Peter 2:9&10, and Philippians 2:1-4 with emphasis on Philippians. Consider others better than yourself. I enjoyed the opportunity immensely and look forward to speaking again.
The next place I plan on sharing the ministry is a small little church called Mt. Holly which is outside Wallace, NC. The women of the church have an annual widows supper where they invite the widows of the church as well as widows in the community. I am excited to speak there and am looking forward to what the Lord will have me speak about. Please keep me in your prayers. Blessings
